Multi-generational Creative Adventures!
Santa Fe welcomes luxury travelers–our cuisine, accommodations, and our art are just a few specialties that make the City Different a coveted destination. Traveling is the perfect opportunity for the family to find those out of the ordinary experiences that even if you’re not jumping from airplanes or swimming with sharks, feel like adventures! Getting away from your regular habits means escaping the glare of a screen, turning off your phone, and finding ways to make special memories. Whats more important when you’re traveling with your family?
Paint Moment is a wonderful experience for families; moms and dads, kids, and grandparents. You’ll enjoy connecting during our 2-hour, step-by-step, guided painting class that inspires your whole family to find their own individual inner artist! Robbi and the other teachers encourage experimentation, creativity, messiness, self-expression, and fun. There’s no experience necessary so the emphasis is on painting from your inner Muse and sharing intimacy with uninterrupted family time. Turn a humdrum evening into an unforgettable, creative adventure by painting together.
If you’re coming to Santa Fe and plan on exploring our vibrant art scene, Paint Moment encourages your participation in Santa Fe’s rich cultural heritage by creating and taking home a mini-masterpiece to LOVE. Make the experience tailor-made by requesting a private booking. Bring a bottle of wine or mimosas. This multi-generational travel experience will leave everyone a better understanding and appreciation of the city and its wealth of artistic heritage. Don’t just be an observer, be a participant and enjoy a Paint Moment.
We just got this fantastic testimonial from a mom in Berkeley, California:
For our family of four including my husband, college age daughter and high school son, the Paint Moment Workshop at Santa Fe Art Classes was a highlight of our trip to Santa Fe. Robbi Firestone offers a range of classes in her Art Sanctuary Studio. While my daughter is a jeweler and metalsmith artist, none of us had painting experience. Robbi ‘s attention to detail and concern for your experience is evident when you enter her teaching studio–with relaxing music playing, the tools set up for painting, and her warm welcome. You are also welcome to bring wine and snacks. She is truly passionate to help you unlock and trust in your creative abilities. She makes the painting process very accessible and engaging to novices, and is very patient. She also gave us a quick tour of her studio upon request. Robbi is an impressive artist and does many commissioned works. I highly recommended this activity to engage in the artistic process and go beyond being an observer. We felt it also allowed to better appreciate the artwork in the galleries and the artists’ vision and skills.
