Family, Friendly, Fun!

My daughter, daughter in law, and granddaughter joined me for a fun morning painting chili peppers. Who would have imagined how fun two hours with acrylics could be. Robbi was a fun teacher, encouraging each of us to bring out the artist hiding inside. Looking forward to doing this again! Btw our group was from age 10 to 68. Fun for all.Response from FireGirlArt, Owner at Santa Fe Art Classes

Robbi Firestone: Biography

Robbi Firestone is a fine artist interested in "ideas, inquiry, and materiality," with a constant emphasis on experimentation with new materials. Her evocative landscapes, rendered in soft pastels, transport viewers to ethereal realms where imagination and reality intertwine. Through her mastery of color, light, and texture, Firestone invites introspection and wonder, celebrating the beauty of nature and the complexities of the human experience.

Her acclaimed installation, "The Empty Womb," explores the emotional landscape of infertility and motherhood, confronting societal taboos and fostering dialogue around grief and loss. Firestone’s commissioned "Spirit Capture" oil portraits capture the essence of notable individuals, blending traditional techniques with profound storytelling.

In addition to her fine art, Firestone experiments with virtual reality, creating immersive performances that redefine artistic expression. Her bold piece, "Crunch Trump," crafted entirely from Cheetos and featured on www.crunchtrump.io, challenges perceptions of art and politics, sparking conversations about power and cultural identity.

Firestone's works have been featured in outlets like The New York Times, Worth, and Parade Magazine, solidifying her reputation as a leading contemporary artist. Her commitment to philanthropy is evident through initiatives such as the Pick Your Price Painting Classes program, making art accessible to all.
